Today's bummer

The bummer of today was that I got released from my calling as a Relief Society instructor. The funny part was that the last two lessons went together so smoothly, I had joked with Eric that it was only a matter of time before I was released. You see, each time I've taught, once I get to the point where I feel like I've finally gotten a grip on what I'm doing, I've been released within 2 weeks. Eric told the bishop about it (he's the exec sec), and bishop told him simply that it's the power of discernment. No new calling today, I'm on "vacation", as our bishop put it, for a few weeks, and then we'll see what happens.

I'm sorry, it's sad to be done when you enjoy it. But hey, sometimes you've got a calling for what seems like forever and you're aching to be released. :) Or maybe I'm just a bad person...

Enjoy the break!

Great! If that is how it works, looks like I'll be RS President until the Millenium! Dad was called as Exec Sec 3 times!! He always said it took a long time to get it right. You were always a fast learner :)
