Easter Baskets and the Egg Hunt

 Ah, Easter basket time.  You know that at any given holiday we're bound to disappoint at least one person.  And this time it was Davin, he didn't get the book he had wanted.

 Aidan, Eme. and Maddie all seemed to enjoy their baskets filled with chocolates, small toys and books.

Well, Davin eventually was won over by the tasty goodies in his basket.  And it really only took 5 minutes of reading for him to fall in love with the book we did buy him (Gregor the Overlander), and then only a few short weeks to burn through the entire 5 book series (and that's because he would have to wait his turn for a book with Aidan at times).

 Later in the afternoon it was time to head on over to Eric's parents' for their egg hunt and pot luck dinner.

 It's always a bit of organized chaos when you're dealing with this many children and they're each hunting for 18-24 eggs.

 You know at least one egg will get lost (especially since more than one adult is hiding eggs), and  we all just do our best to help all the kids count up their eggs and sneak them a few "extra" as needed.
