Christmas Day

For the first time EVER we had to tell the boys to go back to sleep until a more reasonable time (4:30 is TOO early to be up playing video games to pass the time).

Tradition dictates that I make them take a nice picture on the stairs.

All their Santa loot, and everything looking so festive.

Time for some sibling gifts.

And now for the tearing into those gifts! I am a mean/funny/evil mom.  I don't put names on the gifts.  Each year I either pick a wrapping paper for each kid or use a different colored/shaped tag.  And they don't know whose gifts are whose until they open up their pajamas the night before.  It's fun for me.

The girls got Brayer horses.

Studio C shirts for the boys were a HUGE hit.

Maddie got her own big girl scooter.

Eme and Maddie got a camping set for their dolls.

And then, it was time for the BIG family gift!!

Yup, even Eric and I jump on it!

After showers and lego building, we headed over to Nana's for more gifts (and candy).  We had a wonderfully quiet and uneventful Christmastime with our family.
