This update isn't about our little Maddie, although she is cute and is doing well, this update is for Aidan. On Wednesday, he had his six week check-up with his GI following his endoscopy/colonoscopy, to evaluate how he is responding to his medicine. And there has already been some BIG strides!! He has gained 2 pounds and has grown 1 1/2 inches (those measurements are based on his mid-Jan appointment); and when we went to buy him new shoes Tues. night (we lost his sneakers in the move, they may be in the garage, but after two weeks of nothing, we broke down and got a new pair) he had jumped in shoe sizes too! He has rarely complained of stomach pains since he began his treatments. I am just so grateful that he is responding, and is growing again. And I just have to say that our doctor rocks. I had Maddie there with me (Davin and Eme were playing with friends), and our doctor asked if my tiny 10 day old baby was doing alright, did she have any signs of reflux? When I told her no, she asked us to keep an eye on her, along with our other 2 kids, and they'd get us in right away if we need it. And I just have to say, this isn't professional courtesy because of Eric's dad, they don't know him, it is just how they run their practice.

I can identify with your feelings about the doctors attitude. You are very fortunate to have a Doctor actually take an interest and show concern like that. Keep up the progress Aidan. Love & bunihugs to all.
I'm so glad he's feeling better! A good provider makes all the difference.
That's great news!
Boy does it make life easier when you have doctors you love and trust! I'm so glad he's doing well. We miss you!!!
I'm so glad that Aidan is doing better. I like our doctor here, but I think my favorite pediatrician was Dr. Anderson in Wisconsin--he was awesome like that too.
