A whole lot going on

So, I've promised myself that I'll get Eme's first day of preschool pics up this weekend. I'm running a bit behind because I'm totally swamped with life right now-I'm sure that my superwoman of a sister could handle it better, but I'm just barely staying above the fray.

First of all, for two of the days Eme is in school, I get to watch an 8 week old baby-it's a good baby fix for me, and Maddie loves "her" baby. He's a good baby for us, he comes over, falls asleep, poops, and then falls back asleep. It will get more involved as he gets older and less sleepy, I'm sure.

Secondly, we started potty training Maddie last Friday. Woo Hoo!!! So after 10 years, my diaper days are OVER! (There was a one year reprieve between Aidan and Davin-they're 3 1/2 years apart) It has been an awsome experience, with only one bad day since we began. She is so excited to be a big girl, and I am so excited that we have a lot of tile and a spot bot for the occational accident (although, we haven't had one in two days!) And I thought that I would miss her cute little diaper bum, but I have to say, I think it's even cuter in panties!

And finally, I've just been so stressed with drs and infections and the whole lot this past little while. I'm still waiting to hear back from my dr (whom I called on Tues and again on Thurs) about what we need to do this time. The good news is I'm not diabetic, nor do I have hight cholesterol, or any other bad thing in my blood. So here's to hearing back from my dr soon, and finally being infection free after 7 very long months.

All of this, of course, on top of school and band and art classes and homework and mountains of laundry and, best of all, my weekly temple night (Thurs at 7 pm). Ah, the life of a mother...
