Aidan's birthday was, rather unfortunately, just 2 days after my ACL surgery (which I really won't be delving into). Thankfully for him, and all of us, I had gotten all of his bday shopping done before we left for vacation.

And, even better, Gramma Seguine was here to take care of the kids for a week, so she made sure that Aidan had a great birthday breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cake. She even took him shopping at Barnes and Noble, he came home fully loaded with books.

I had convinced Aidan earlier to go for a simpler cake, and as it turned out, I was lucid enough to even decorate it myself!

I wish I could remember more of his day, but that's not really going to happen. However, he remembers it quite well, and he had a great time.
