On Sunday we witnessed one of those testimony builders for Aidan. What began in Primary with his lesson (I'm assuming on prayer), ended at home. We now have church from 8:30-11:30 (YES!!!). We come home, eat lunch, and then the boys have quiet-time while Eme goes down for her nap. After quiet-time (the boys have to play by themselves for an hour in separate rooms) Aidan and Davin like to play together. On Sunday, they played in their room. I went in to investigate after the noise escalated to an unacceptable level. I immediately notice the closet doors (both of them) off the top track, and out of the bottom guide. Eric went to work. It took a fair amount of coercion to get the doors out, in order to get them back in properly.
I was sitting out front (avoiding the noise) when Aidan came out and told me that he thought that he should say a prayer to help daddy. I was so touched, I left him out front so he could say his prayer, and went to check on Eric's progress. A few minutes later (2 or 3 tops) Aidan came back into his room, just as Eric replaced the 2nd door and told him that he "just knew that daddy would get them back in." We took a moment to talk about the promting of the Holy Ghost to say a prayer, and how praying for help is always a good idea. I was so grateful that Aidan had this testimony building experience.
