Maddie's Crusin' Now!

Maddie has been taking a step or two for a little while now. At the rate she's been going, we've been pretty sure that she'd be walking at about 10 months. The boys both walked at 10 months (to the day), and Eme walked exactly one week after turning 1. Well, last Wednesday Maddie was 10 months, and sure enough, she was walking for real. She walked from one end of the kitchen all the way to the family room. She gets more and more stable with each day; although, she does have difficulty with the tile to carpet transition. Now if we could only teach her how to go down the stairs, we'd be set.

Your garden is looking quite awesome!!
I loved the post about your husband, his kind deeds and your definition of romance. I could not agree more with you. Thanks for putting it into words.
Em's story about her sock is funny. It hink its funny that she puts so mnay things inside of them too.

What a big girl! Adayla is walking a few steps now, and is so proud of herself. We struggle with the stairs, too. She goes up very well, but down is still a bit sketchy. Unfortunately, she is also fast! We have a family phrase for turning around and crawling down the stairs backwards; we call it "hokey-pokey". So now all day, Theo and I are saying, "Adayla, hokey-pokey" as we try to keep her from plumeting head-first down the stairs.

She's really moving! That's amazing that all your kids walked at about the same time.
