Our family does not use the Easter Bunny, we never have (we do believe in Santa, or at least the kids have to tell me they do if they want a stocking). So they know that we are the ones to hide the eggs, and we are the ones who hand out their baskets. We've always told them that some people do use the EB, but we have too much fun hiding the eggs ourselves to share (we still want them to believe in the magic of childhood). This was Maddie's first Easter, last year Easter was a week before she was born. Here are the kids with their baskets Saturday morning:
Of the five Easters we've now had here in Arizona 2 we were rained upon, one was windy, and two were HOT. This year was one of the rainy ones. We hadn't had rain for months, and so of course, it had to rain on a day we wanted to be outside. Not to worry though, Nana (Eric's mom) had a contingency plan for the egg hunt: inside. If we had thought that hiding 100+ eggs outside was difficult, it was nothing compared to inside. I'm just glad that we didn't have to do the hiding this year, Mom took care of that. Here are some of the pics from our Saturday hunt, it's a bit harder to get shots of all the kids indoors, Eric's mom has pics if Aidan.
And, finally, here is the obligatory pre-church shot of the kids in their Easter clothes. I made the girls' dresses this year, with help from both Eric's mom and my mom. I'm really pleased with how well they turned out, and for just $5 worth of fabric too! I've already got some more dresses planned.

Yay for NO Easter Bunny! Love the new cute pics on your sidebar of your brown-eyed boys and blue-eyed girls.
I love the dresses! They turned out very well. I can't believe how big Maddie looks in those pictures.
You are so great. I particularly love how clearly excited they all are to get dressed up and pose for a picture. :)
