Welcoming in the first 100's

We had been planning on going to the zoo, but one look at the forcast changed my mind. Tuesday and Wednesday were both destined to be 99-100 degrees. NOT the kind of temps I want at the zoo. So we instead opted to pull out our $10 pool from last year, and get some popsicles. It was a success. The kids cooled off, and had so much fun splashing around. And as a bonus, it tired them all out, Eme went to bed early, and Davin fell asleep within minutes.

Great choice! Man, that pool looks like the one we had growing up, before the boys threw rocks in it, poking holes in the bottom. I remember them sitting on the sides to let the water rush out...

How fun! Don't you just love how swimming makes kids so tired! (Well, that & the 100 degree weather I guess!) Also, I love the Easter dresses you made - so cool!
