It's been a rough two weeks, I've been swamped with getting the house back together and then getting over a cold. So here is Maddie's birthday, two weeks late, enjoy.Oh my, it's dizzying how this past year has just flown by. Madeline Grace has gone from this delicate tiny baby to this funny little toddler. She has got some of the funniest facial expressions; she knows they are funny, and she laughs at herself.
I had so much fun with Maddie's cake (I love to decorate their cakes, for me the cake is more important than the birthday dinner). I did a tower of cupcakes this time, Julie and Ilana helped me decorate them, and I love how they turned out.
We had a fun little party for her, just family and lots of cousins. She got some clothes, some books, and just 3 toys. It was perfect. Nana and Papa got her the pink ride on pony, her brothers got her a 1st birthday my little pony (that Eme plays with), and we got her a little flower and rolly bug set. After a few kids you realize that the 1 year old just doesn't care about more than one, or two toys.

Wow, Maddie is so beautiful! She's grown up so much! I love the tower of cupcakes. You guys did a great job decorating.
Those cupcakes are awesome! I can't believe she is already 1! She is such a cutie!
Time sure flies, doesn't it? Maddie is really adorable.
Your cupcakes are amazing - I'm mentally filing that for future use.
I agree, time goes by way too fast. It's crazy! She is beautiful, and the cupcakes are adorable!!! How creative and cute.
Maddie is such a sweet, squishy 1 year old. We loved being able to be there and celebrate all together.
