4th of July

Being home again this year for the 4th of July, we decided to not let it keep us down.  So we made the most of our day together.

We went to IHOP for breakfast:

 We went swimming at Nana and Papa's house until we spotted THIS and decided to get out (we had just enough time to close everything down):

While we waited for our dinner tried out some of our pyrotechnics, these ones left burn marks on the concrete:

Thanks to Pinterest we had a safe way for the girls to play with sparklers:

And we ended our night by blowing things up in front of our house ($20 goes a long way too):

No, it wasn't Huntsville, but it was fun and memorable.  A good day.
