Celebrating Black History Month

These reports were turned in on Feb 1st, we're a bit behind on blogging with last week's proceedures and this week's head cold.

To celebrate Black History Month, each kid in Aidan's class was assigned a different person from history to do a report on. Aidan was given Harriet Tubman (when Eric asked if she was famous for inventing the bath tub, Aidan rolled his eyes and said: "no Daddy, she was the Moses of her people. Who was Moses?"-we clarified who Moses was for him.) He did a nice job on his report. All of the research was done in class, along with their rough draft- the report was 4 paragraphs long. At home we re-wrote the report nicely, I found a picture of Harriet Tubman online, and then we put it all together. Here is his finished project:

The first of many!! I love Eric's question and I can just hear the sigh in Aidan's answer. He knows his dad really well!
