Hip, Hip, Horray!!

This past Thursday the legislature finally passed the fiscal '09 budget. No, it doesn't fix or deal with some pretty big shortfall problems, it just puts them off until the fiscal '11 budget. But, for now, it is done. And with school starting on Aug 6th, this comes not a moment too soon. So, now we can take our vacation time. Eric has to take 5 weeks by the end of the year, or he'll loose the time-with all his comp time, he's maxed out his vacation/leave time. So, we'll head up to Utah at the end of July, and we've got a week in PA with mom, dad, and everyone (hopefully) else in mid-August. We'll have to see if Tom and Heather and Dan and Tricia and their family can make it. I realized that it's been almost 6 years since I've seen Tricia, the last time was when we drove down to FL for Dan's birthday when we were still in NY. At any rate, I've got my husband back, he's a lot happier too, and we've got some fun things to look forward to before the summer is over.
