Although the evenings are still lovely, the mosquitoes are back. And they love me. I got 5, yes 5, bites Saturday morning while working in the garden because I forgot to put on bug spray. So, if you ever think about visiting our state, you should either bring bug spray (for the spring) or sunscreen (for the rest of the year).
ps. it doesn't help that our neighbor has flooded their backyard again this year so half of our yard is a swamp.

We haven't seen them yet in full force here, but they are coming. My strategy is to stand next to my husband - he's a mosquito magnet.
Must be a Seguine thing. Dan will get mosquito bites, chiggers, and poison ivy, and I will get nothing at all!
