Scenes from September/October

So, I've been pretty lazy about the camera lately, I just haven't taken many pics since school's started.  But here are a few that I took over the last few weeks...

Davin thought the 3 Paddington's wanted to watch some TV, along with a cat
We had a pretty substantial cool down the first weekend in October, no really we did!  It dropped 30+ degrees in two days, we went from over 100 on Thursday to mid-70's on Saturday.  Of course it was the same weekend that Eric and Aidan went camping with scouts-they froze.
Cooler weather=feeding the ducks again
Aidan spent most of September working on his big Egypt project.  He built a pyramid out of Legos (I only showed him how to stabalize the sides to prevent collapse), made papyrus, analyzed sacred animals/insects found in tombs, made and decorated an obelisk, made a mock travelogue of Giza (with Grampa's own travel pics-he got extra points for that one!!), and in class they carved Sphynx out of soap.  He ended up with 5 bonus points, way to go kid!

And Maddie and I got to go to the zoo together for the first time since the end of May.  It was a pleasant 90 degrees :)
