Davin's Baptism

Davin's baptism was sandwiched right between his birthday and Christmas, so it's been one big celebratory month here for us.  It also worked out really well for me because it ment that my parents would be here to see my house all decked out for Christmas-I'm not sure who was more excited, Davin or I.

Davin made a list of people he wanted to invite to his baptism.  The first name on that list? Grandpa J (I told him not to worry, we were inviting ALL of the family, so he was already included).  After that he added a couple of friends and his teacher and Eme's teacher (who is member and was Davin's kindergarten teacher as well).

It was as it should have been, a very special day for a pretty special kid.  With lots of family and some good friends there to share it with (both teachers came, it ment so much to him to have them there.)

Eric's mom and Matt spent time behind the lens.
Afterwards we headed back to our house for some lunch with family (including Ashlee's new puppy).  Davin got halfway through a journal entry about his day before he was distracted by the food, cousins, and puppy.  He did write enough to say that this was "the best day of my life".  And for me, it was definately one of my top days.
