Gramma and Grandpa Seguine

Most of my mom's last visit here is a bit of a blur, it's a fair bet that the combination of Percocet and Dramamine has something to do with the amnesia.  So I made sure to thoroughly enjoy their (short) visit this time.  My parents took the early flight out to ensure as much time with us as they could (poor dad had only just gotten home the day before from Frankfurt).

We got back to our house about lunchtime, and it was all I could do to not join my kids in jumping up and down saying "look at this, look at this!"  I behaved myself, and fed my parents first, let the kids show off stuff, let my parents see my stuff, and then I showed them what I thought they might have missed.  And, yes, it was as much fun as I thought it would be to have them here at Christmastime.

We hit Deseret Books, saw the temple lights, ate donuts, dad read books, mom and I hit JoAnn's, went to Joe's Farm Grill (where my parents worried about scorpions falling on them thanks to Eric), dad read more books, got mom set up on Facebook, mom shared her iPad with the grandkids, and more books were read.  I'm pretty sure that my parents read every Christmas book we own, twice, each.  The kids loved it.  And so did I.
